War Thunder Ban Wave Tracker

BattlEye· Community ban reports

War Thunder enforces its terms of service through BattlEye, which monitors system memory, scans for injected code, and collects hardware fingerprints from disk drives, network adapters, and BIOS data. Hardware bans are particularly difficult to deal with because they persist across account changes — BattlEye recognizes your machine's unique signature and blocks it regardless of which account you log into.

This community-driven tracker monitors War Thunder ban activity in real time. Players report their bans here, and the aggregated data reveals whether the game is running a ban wave or if bans are occurring at normal baseline levels. Scroll down to see the data and add your own report.

About these reports

The reports on this page are community submissions from War Thunder players who were banned for any reason — anti-cheat detections, ban waves, false flags, account-sharing, cheat-software use, suspicious behaviour, payment disputes, and so on. They are not bans that occurred while running TraceX HWID Spoofer. TraceX rewrites hardware identifiers to bypass an HWID ban after the fact — the data here exists so players can see ban-wave patterns and decide what to do next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a War Thunder ban wave right now?+
Check the live ban report chart above. If you see a spike in reports over the last 24-48 hours, a ban wave is likely in progress. When reports stay below normal levels, it's more likely that individual bans are being issued rather than a coordinated sweep.
What should I do if I got banned in War Thunder?+
Start by identifying what type of ban you received. Use the HWID Ban Checker below to diagnose whether it's an account ban, IP ban, or hardware ban. Account bans only affect one account. HWID bans flag your PC's hardware identifiers, meaning every new account you create on the same machine will also get banned.
How does BattlEye detect hardware bans in War Thunder?+
BattlEye monitors system memory, scans for injected code, and collects hardware fingerprints from disk drives, network adapters, and BIOS data. It builds a unique profile of your machine and checks it against a database of banned hardware signatures. If your hardware profile matches, you're banned before you even get past the login screen.
How often does War Thunder run ban waves?+
There's no fixed schedule — War Thunder's ban waves depend on when BattlEye updates its detection methods. Sometimes waves happen weekly, other times there can be months of quiet followed by a large sweep. This tracker helps you spot the pattern.
Can I play War Thunder again after a hardware ban?+
A hardware ban can only be bypassed by changing the identifiers that BattlEye flagged. This means either replacing physical components or using an HWID spoofer to rewrite the identifiers permanently — TraceX does this once, then you delete the binary and reinstall War Thunder on a clean profile.
