HWID Spoofing Guides
How Anti-Cheat Detects Hardware (2026)
How does anti cheat detect hardware? It reads SMBIOS serials, disk and volume IDs, your MAC and MachineGuid, then matches them as one composite fingerprint
Fall Guys still exposes a machine profile to EAC behind an Epic account. TraceX Spoofer is a free permanent HWID spoofer: rewrite once and delete it.
Free diagnostic
A "Game Security Violation Detected" EAC pop-up is an integrity error, not proof of a ban; verify the Fall Guys sanction and duration in Epic's Sanctions & Appeals portal before treating repeated account blocks on the same PC as hardware-linked.
Hardware Coverage
Fall Guys's anti-cheat silently reads dozens of hardware identifiers from your PC while it's running — long before you reach a match. Learn how EasyAntiCheat works in Fall Guys and why it's difficult to bypass without a spoofer. Below is a sample of the identifiers being tracked.
| Hardware Identifier | Fall Guys Tracks | TraceX Rewrites |
|---|---|---|
| CPU Model / CPUID Data | Yes | Yes |
| SMBIOS Type 2 / Board UUID | Yes | Yes |
| GPU Device ID / LUID | Yes | Yes |
| Disk & Volume Serials | Yes | Yes |
| Network Adapter MAC | Yes | Yes |
| Windows MachineGuid | Yes | Yes |
Reality Check
And when they're denied — which is almost always for HWID bans — your hardware stays permanently blacklisted. No second chances.
“Merely having Cheats present on the device you use to access Licensed Products may result in your Epic Games Account being suspended or terminated.”
Epic Games — Terms of Service, Section 4 "Gameplay Integrity Tools" (unified ToS that consolidates the previous Fall Guys EULA, governs all Epic-published Licensed Products including Fall Guys)
Why You Need This
You launch Fall Guys from the Epic Games Launcher, reach the title screen, and "Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightningService.exe]" closes the game before Knockout queues. That message alone is not an HWID ban; EAC integrity failures can come from incompatible background software or a blocked driver. The serious pattern is different: Epic's Sanctions & Appeals portal shows a Fall Guys ban, then another account on the same PC is separately restricted after you have ruled out an EAC install fault, corrupt files, and connection trouble. Record the exact message before blaming the bean or the board.
Fall Guys uses Easy Anti-Cheat on PC, but Epic does not publish a Fall Guys field-by-field hardware schema. A durable Windows device profile can draw from concrete collection surfaces: the SMBIOS Type 2 baseboard serial and motherboard UUID; physical-disk descriptors and serials returned through IOCTL_STORAGE_QUERY_PROPERTY; Windows volume serials; MAC addresses for physical network adapters; and MachineGuid under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography. TPM 2.0 endorsement-key material can provide a hardware-rooted anchor, while Secure Boot state describes platform integrity rather than acting as one more serial number. Those last two should be treated as possible weighted inputs, not a universal EAC key. Composite matching matters because agreement across board, storage, Windows, and network values is harder to erase accidentally than any single field.
That mechanism explains both the diagnosis and the limits of common fixes. Reinstalling Fall Guys changes game files. Reinstalling Windows can rotate MachineGuid and a volume serial, yet normally leaves the SMBIOS Type 2 value, motherboard UUID, controller-reported disk serials, and physical NIC identity intact. An EAC "Game Security Violation Detected" message still is not proof that those values were banned; Epic documents integrity and driver compatibility failures that can stop Fall Guys before matchmaking. Check the sanction record first. EAC integrations can also encounter the same classes of identifiers across Fortnite, Rust, Apex Legends, and other protected titles, creating cross-game recognition exposure when a machine profile is reused. Publishers administer enforcement separately, so a Fall Guys sanction does not automatically ban every EAC game or even prove a Fortnite ban.
TraceX Spoofer rewrites the supported board, storage, network, and Windows identifiers as one coherent permanent profile. That differs from a temporary session spoofer that substitutes values only while its loader or background component is active, then exposes the original profile again after reboot. Complete the one-time setup, run TraceX once, and delete the tool; no daemon or per-session mask needs to remain beside Fall Guys. The rewrite addresses device matching only. It does not disable EAC, restore a sanctioned Epic account, remove Epic's enforcement record, or prevent a new sanction if unauthorized software is used again.
Verified
On September 6, 2020, the official @FallGuysGame account said a coming update would add "the same anti-cheat used by games such as Fortnite." PC Gamer reported on September 15, 2020 that the "Big Yeetus and Anti-Cheatus" update was live with a new PC anti-cheating system. The current Fall Guys EULA identifies that system as Easy Anti-Cheat, operated by Epic Games International.
Why TraceX
You shouldn't need to replace your PC to play Fall Guys again. That's why TraceX exists.
Run TraceX once before opening Fall Guys through Epic Games Launcher. The rewrite persists, so you can delete the tool before EasyAntiCheat starts.
Fall Guys's hardware ban (hwid) is tied to the profile EasyAntiCheat reads. Rewritten identifiers persist across reboots without a TraceX daemon.
For Fall Guys, the documented EasyAntiCheat coverage includes CPU Model / CPUID Data, SMBIOS Type 2 / Board UUID, GPU Device ID / LUID. TraceX rewrites the supported fields in one pass.
Fall Guys launches from Epic Games Launcher after the rewrite is complete. No TraceX process remains during EasyAntiCheat gameplay to consume resources.
Fall Guys's hardware ban (hwid) details stay separate from the current EasyAntiCheat status, so a game update is never treated as unchanged by default.
When you open Fall Guys with Epic account, EasyAntiCheat reads the supported identifiers produced by the completed permanent rewrite.
Setup Guide
Getting around a Fall Guys HWID ban used to take hours — reinstalling Windows, flashing BIOS, wiping drivers, re-downloading everything, and praying it worked. One wrong step meant starting over and burning another account. With TraceX, a single click does more than all of that combined.

Detection Analysis
EasyAntiCheat can combine identifiers from your PC into a hardware profile for Fall Guys. TraceX rewrites the supported fields shown below before the game runs.
When you launch Fall Guys, your real hardware IDs are scanned and matched against ban records. Every new account on a flagged PC is blocked.
Fall Guys sees a completely new machine with no ban history. New account, clean hardware — access granted.

All of these games use EasyAntiCheat — the same anti-cheat that banned you in Fall Guys. One permanent TraceX rewrite covers every one of them.

FAQ
Fall Guys definitely uses EAC on PC, but neither the Fall Guys EULA nor Epic Support publishes a hardware-ban field list or says every cheating sanction is device-level. Official support says bans are applied individually and can be temporary or permanent. Treat repeated blocks across accounts on the same PC as a possible hardware link only after checking the sanction portal and ruling out EAC installation, driver, game-file, and connection errors.
Start with the exact screen. "Game Security Violation Detected" can mean EAC found incompatible background software, while "EasyAntiCheat Driver: A security setting is preventing the driver from loading" is a documented Windows 11 compatibility issue. Neither message proves an HWID ban. Check Epic's Sanctions & Appeals portal and the account email; only consider a hardware link after a sanction is confirmed and those technical causes are eliminated.
EAC does not publish the exact Fall Guys weighting. Relevant Windows surfaces include the SMBIOS Type 2 baseboard serial, motherboard UUID, physical-disk serials queried through storage IOCTLs, volume serials, physical NIC MAC addresses, and MachineGuid under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography. TPM 2.0 endorsement-key material and Secure Boot state may add identity or integrity signals, but neither is documented as one universal Fall Guys ban key.
Those changes affect different layers. Reinstalling Fall Guys replaces game files, while formatting Windows can rotate MachineGuid and a filesystem volume serial. Neither normally rewrites the SMBIOS Type 2 board serial, motherboard UUID, physical NIC MAC, or every controller-reported disk serial. Replacing one SSD changes one storage input and leaves the rest of a composite machine profile available, so no single reinstall or component swap is a reliable reset.
Changing an Epic login changes account credentials, not the board, storage, Windows, or network values exposed by the PC. If enforcement is linked to a composite device profile, those values can correlate the machine again. Public Fall Guys documents do not say that every new-account block is hardware-based, so do not use one failed login as proof. Confirm the sanction and rule out EAC service, driver, file-integrity, and connection failures first.
No automatic roster-wide ban should be assumed. EAC is a shared collection layer, so separate integrations can encounter the same classes of board, storage, network, Windows, and platform-security values. Publishers still administer enforcement for their own titles. The cross-game risk is recognition or re-flagging of a reused machine profile, not proof that one Fall Guys sanction instantly places the account or PC on every EAC game's ban list.
Epic's Fall Guys support page gives no universal 48-hour, 14-day, or hardware-ban timer. It says sanctions are applied individually and range from temporary to permanent, so the duration shown in the sanctions portal or Epic's email is the one that controls. If Support confirms the account flag, Epic says the ban will not be lifted. A permanent sanction has no published automatic expiry, and a forum-supplied countdown is not evidence that the device profile resets.
Use Epic's official Sanctions & Appeals portal and identify the exact sanction rather than appealing an EAC compatibility error. An appeal is the proper route if the account was compromised or you believe the action is wrong, but it is not a guaranteed reset. Epic's Fall Guys support page says a flag confirmed by its Support Team will not be lifted. Rewriting device identifiers does not change the original sanction record or restore the banned Epic account.
A temporary session spoofer substitutes identifiers only while its loader, driver, or background process is active and usually needs to run again after a reboot. TraceX uses a permanent rewrite of its supported identifier set. Complete the one-time setup, run TraceX once, then delete the tool; the rewritten profile persists without a TraceX process beside Fall Guys. This addresses device matching, not an existing Epic account sanction or future cheat detection.
