Is It Really a Fall Guys HWID Ban?
Launcher hits an "Easy Anti-Cheat: Authentication Error" or returns to the title screen with "This account has been banned" before the bean reaches the costume select — and any new Epic account you log into on the same PC hits the same wall the moment it tries to queue a Show.
Can you still log into your game account?

Reality Check
Fall Guys Appeals Almost Never Work
And when they're denied — which is almost always for HWID bans — your hardware stays permanently blacklisted. No second chances.
“Merely having Cheats present on the device you use to access Licensed Products may result in your Epic Games Account being suspended or terminated.”

Why You Need This
Do You Really Need an HWID Spoofer for Fall Guys?
Reinstalling Fall Guys doesn't drop your bean back into the Blunderdome — it loads the same hardware fingerprint EasyAntiCheat already flagged the last time you qualified. Make a fresh Epic account, link a brand-new email, queue Solos and you'll watch the lobby spin until "Authentication Error" kicks you to the title screen before the first Door Dash gate even opens. EAC isn't keying off your Crown Rank, your kudos balance, or how many Show Bucks you spent on the Knight skin — it's keying off the motherboard, disks, and network adapters your Bean boots from. Until those identifiers change, every new Epic login on this machine is another Cheater Island ticket waiting to be punched.
When EasyAntiCheat flags a Show, the enforcement doesn't stop at the Epic account that grabbed the Crown. Epic's Terms of Service warn that "merely having Cheats present on the device you use to access Licensed Products may result in your Epic Games Account being suspended or terminated" — and EAC's kernel-mode driver backs that up by reading a hardware fingerprint built from motherboard serial, SMBIOS UUID, disk IDs, and the MAC addresses of every network adapter present at boot. Reinstall Fall Guys, wipe Windows, format the drive — none of that rewrites the values stamped into firmware, and EAC sees the same machine the next time it loads.
That's why the new Epic account you made to escape the ban authentication-errors before its first Slime Climb. The ToS goes further: "If Epic has terminated these Terms for you, permanently banning you from use of Licensed Products, you may not seek to evade the ban imposed on you by creating a new Epic Games Account." Epic considers the second account itself a violation, regardless of how clean its email is. And because Fall Guys uses your Epic Account for cross-progression with PSN, Xbox Live, and Switch, the same Epic ID is the bridge that links a banned PC fingerprint back to whichever console you try next.
Fall Guys's cheating reputation makes the trigger easy. You don't need a flying-bean speedhack lighting up Hex-A-Gone — silent client-side trainers, custom DLLs that cap dive momentum, or a dodgy ReShade build can all throw an EAC integrity error and roll into a permanent ban. Mediatonic shipped the original 4 August 2020 launch without third-party anti-cheat at all and conceded six weeks later that "we're really sorry about the cheating problem," before adding the kernel driver in the 15 September 2020 "Big Yeetus and the Anti-Cheatus" mid-Season-2 patch. Every detection signature added since then is still scanning your hardware on every boot. And once the fingerprint is on the list, no amount of new Epic accounts, new linked PSN/Xbox/Switch IDs, or Steam Family invites will unlock the lobby.
Verified
Fall Guys launched on 4 August 2020 without any third-party anti-cheat. Six weeks into a public cheater wave, Mediatonic's @FallGuysGame Twitter posted on 6 September 2020 that the team had "a BIG update in the next couple of weeks that adds the same anti-cheat used by games such as Fortnite" — and shipped EasyAntiCheat in the 15 September 2020 "Big Yeetus and the Anti-Cheatus" mid-Season-2 patch. Every fingerprint flagged from that patch onward is still on EAC's list today.
Why TraceX
Built for Fall Guys Players
You shouldn't need to replace your PC to play Fall Guysagain. That's why TraceX exists.
Run TraceX once before launching Fall Guys. No daemon, no startup entry, no background service. When you're done, delete the binary.
Your new hardware identifiers don't reset on reboot or reinstall. EasyAntiCheat reads them as permanent — exactly like a fresh build.
Every hardware identifier EasyAntiCheat reads — CPU, board, drives, GPU, NIC, Machine GUID — rewritten in a single pass.
TraceX runs before Fall Guys launches — not during. No FPS drops, no stutter, no driver hooks left running while you play.
TraceX updates ahead of Fall Guys detection cycles. New versions ship before changes land in the game.
When you load Fall Guys, EasyAntiCheat fingerprints what looks like a fresh system. Your real hardware is never exposed.

How Fall Guys Scans Your Hardware
Fall Guys tracks dozens of unique identifiers from your PC and creates a unique hardware profile. It also leaves behind registry traces even after uninstalling — designed to detect you on return. TraceX takes care of everything.
When you launch Fall Guys, your real hardware IDs are scanned and matched against ban records. Every new account on a flagged PC is blocked.
Fall Guys sees a completely new machine with no ban history. New account, clean hardware — access granted.

FAQ
Fall Guys HWID Ban — Frequently Asked Questions
Does Fall Guys actually HWID ban?
Yes. EasyAntiCheat reads a hardware fingerprint (motherboard, SMBIOS UUID, disks, MAC addresses) and reports it back to Epic. Epic's ToS warns that merely having cheats present on the device can lead to a ban, and players consistently report that creating a new Epic account on the same PC triggers the same authentication error before the first Show loads.
Will reinstalling Fall Guys or Windows fix the ban?
No. The ban is keyed to your hardware fingerprint, not the Fall Guys install or the Windows build. A fresh OS, a fresh Epic Games Launcher, and a fresh Epic account all read the same motherboard, disk, and NIC IDs EAC's kernel driver already flagged. Disabling EAC isn't an option — Epic's ToS terminates your license to play the moment you remove or disable the integrity tools.
Does a Fall Guys HWID ban affect other EAC games on the same PC?
Mostly no. EAC bans are per-publisher. A ban from Fall Guys locks you out of Fortnite, Rocket League, and any other Epic-published Licensed Product on that hardware (because they share the Epic Account ban list), but Apex Legends, Rust, and other non-Epic EAC games run separate ban databases. Riot Vanguard and BattlEye are entirely separate systems.
I got a "temp ban" — can I just wait it out?
Sometimes. Fall Guys does issue 48-hour and longer temp suspensions for first-time offences (often automated via report thresholds during LTMs like Slimescraper), and players report support refusing to give a reason. But Epic's stated escalation is straightforward: repeated infractions roll up to a permanent ban. Once it flips to permanent, the device fingerprint is on the EAC list and waiting it out doesn't help.
Does the ban transfer to PS5, Xbox, or Switch?
The Epic-account portion does. Fall Guys uses your Epic Account for cross-progression — once Epic flags that account, it follows you to PSN, Xbox Live, and Nintendo Switch links. The hardware ban is PC-only (consoles don't run the EAC kernel driver), but a banned Epic Account makes the console version unplayable too. A clean Epic Account on console can still play, but linking it back to the banned PC re-flags it.
How long does a Fall Guys ban last?
First-time automated bans are usually 48 hours or 14 days. EAC-flagged cheating bans (kernel-driver detection of unauthorized software, not just report-bombing) are permanent by default — Epic's ToS lets them suspend or terminate without prior notice, and once the hardware fingerprint is on the list there's no expiry.
Are appeals worth submitting?
Almost never for confirmed EAC detections. Players report Epic support refusing to give a reason. Appeals occasionally succeed when the cause is clearly automated (report bombing during an LTM, custom-lobby drama), but for kernel-driver-detected cheats the policy is irreversible by design.
I never cheated but I keep getting reported and temp-banned during LTMs — why?
The community consensus is that Epic uses an automated report-threshold system on top of EAC. During modes like Slimescraper, Royal Fumble, or Roll Out — where players stand around at the end or grief-grab — frustrated players mass-report whoever beat them, and the auto-system swings a 48-hour suspension. EAC didn't flag your hardware in this case, but consecutive auto-bans roll up to permanent under Epic's ToS.
Console Fall Guys doesn't have HWID bans, right?
Right. PS4/PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions of Fall Guys are account-locked, not hardware-locked, and don't run the EAC kernel driver. A PC HWID ban doesn't follow you to console hardware — but the linked Epic Account does, so a clean Epic login on a console works while the banned Epic Account stays locked everywhere.
Has Mediatonic ever experimented with cheater segregation instead of bans?
Yes. In September 2020, before EAC was added, Mediatonic ran a "Cheater Island" matchmaking pool that funneled flagged Fall Guys players into lobbies of only other cheaters. Mediatonic shut the experiment down quickly because flag-detection latency caused matchmaking-queue stalls and the cheater-vs-cheater video clips spread on social media. The 15 September 2020 "Big Yeetus and the Anti-Cheatus" patch replaced it with EAC enforcement.
